Damn that's a good biscuit! So I'm really picky about biscuits & gravy and these are the bomb! Biscuits are fluffy inside and a crusty outside.
Blueberry donuts are delicious too. We need a Connie's in south Texas....please -

What can I say? This is a famous Tupelo staple. This morning I met a friend here and we had the chicken biscuit and the pork biscuit with gravy. I prefer the chicken biscuit. The chicken is more tender. Then of course, you can't leave without getting the famous blueberry donut! Excellent!

We stopped here on our way to Memphis and loved it! Wife got 4 chicken tenders meal (they gave her 6) and I got the breast + leg meal with Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes w a roll. The fried chicken gets a 10/10, Mac & cheese 8/10, mashed potatoes 7/10. Excellent value, great taste, quick and friendly service. Glad we stopped here.

Very good chicken tenders here! Very crispy, reasonably moist, good seasoning. The Mac and cheese side was pretty dry though, and the green bean pretty run of the mill. I tried the tenders at Papa V's a little later, and between the two I'd say the tenders are better at Connie's, the sides are better at Papa V's. Will probably come back here again next time I'm in town if I'm looking for a quick tasty meal.
